dvips fails

Hello!

First of all: lilypond is nice!!
I have tried it out on Redhat 8.0 and everything worked great!
My problem is that i'm working on a Dell lapotop with Mandrake 9.1, and can't get lilypond to work. 
It looks like I have problem with fonts. The .dvi file is missing noteheads and more. (see attachement)
.pdf and .ps files is not genrated at all.

I get the following error:
