Loading lilypond-mode fails on emacs startup

From: Jeffery B. Rancier
Subject: Loading lilypond-mode fails on emacs startup

User-agent: Gnus/5.110001 (No Gnus v0.1) Emacs/21.3 (windows-nt)

I just recently realized that the elisp source is included with the
distribution (as opposed to the emacswiki). When I execute the
following on startup:

,----
| (load "lilypond-mode")
| (setq auto-mode-alist
| (cons '("\\.ly$" . LilyPond-mode) auto-mode-alist))
| (add-hook 'LilyPond-mode-hook (lambda () (turn-on-font-lock)))
`----

But it results in the following backtrace, can anyone give me a hand
with this?

,----[ Backtrace2.txt ]
