Thanks for the help, that works great, now if I could just get the measure to appear wider than the words 'Free Time' it would be perfect.

Actually, you don't need the \encincipit macro which includes some
tricks to typeset the clef, but if you are curious about how it's done,
it's defined in /usr/share/lilypond/*/ly/property-init.ly
