Best way to create eps

HI all,


Further to my post the other day about probs creating pdf from eps.
I've found the problem, it is something to do with the eps generated
using ps2ps -E , when I used dvips -E and then eps2pdf the bounding box  
is kept fine.

My question now is what is the best way to create eps using dvips,
whenever I run dvips on the .dvi file I get the ugly output.
