I just tried your file here and I can't repeat your error.
To find out what convert-ly is trying to do, just run
convert-ly -s
You can also take a look at the ChangeLog file.

What doesn't lilypond .30 like in the above? Or, in general, what
syntax has been changed in the new version? I'm going to have to fix
the differences manually.
