As long as you use the accidentals that are already defined
in LilyPond, you can easily typeset key signatures with any
combintation of sharps, flats, double sharps and double flats,
see
http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.2/input/regression/out-www/collated-files.html#key-signature-scordatura.ly
However, it gets trickier as soon as you need additional symbols,
since these are not available in the font.

Hello all,
being new to lilypond I am happy and thankful with and for its
possibilites.
A question arose: Is it possible to create the Turkish/Arabic makam
keys?. There are many keys and the alterations are multifold. Is it
somehow possible to insert at the beginning of a line alteration signs
as displayed in the example:
http://www.neyzen.com/images/notalar/hicaz/hicaz_p_akin_ozkan01.gif
At http://www.neyzen.com/nota_arsivi.htm you can see all the existing
keys that sometimes require special notations with one or more "b" and
"#" in the key.
And would it be possible to mirror a "b" or create #/signs with more
than two lines in it (see also http://www.farzadweb.com/turkishnotes.htm)
If not, how does one suggest this to the creators of Lilypond?
