Gentoo Linux e-build fails on compile

To whom it may concern,

I'm trying to upgrade to version 2.03 of LilyPond from 1.8 by using  
'emerge' with Gentoo. When the package tries to compile I get the  
following error near what I presume is the end of the procedure
