Did you read the error message before you sent this message?

You apparently do not have dvips installed; you'll need this as it is
part of the chain to produce pdf output.

As for MIDI output, you'll need to specify that you want it in the
lilypond file [1].  I highly recommend you read though the tutorial
[2], and generally consult the documentation [3].
