Hi,
I was glad to see this example, because there are quite a few places
where I needed that notation and just gave up for now. I tried using this
trick and stumbled upon a bug - when a hidden note is dotted, it hides
other notes. I couldn't find any workaround, so a workaround would be
appreciated.
A short example:
\version "2.4.2"
\new Staff {
\clef bass
\override Score.NoteCollision #'merge-differently-dotted = ##t
<<
{\voiceTwo r16 e,8 e16 ~ <e, e>2}
\new Voice {\hideNotes s16 e,8.~ e,}
>>
\override Score.NoteCollision #'merge-differently-dotted = ##f
}
Thanks,
Yuval
