Still not getting it to work. In addition to doing everything in
Appendix D with regards to setting up Xpdf --> Firefox --> emacs I have
edited my ~/.bash_profile and added:
export EDITOR=emacs
If I hover over a note in Xpdf I can see the reference displayed in the
lower right corner but clicking on it only gets me:
# Error: No running window found
It does not matter if I have no emacs open, emacs open, or even emacs
open to the file in question. I *did* login again after
editing .bash_profile (I also tried it with .bashrc with the same
result).
