Hi!
I've been working quite successfully for about 6 months now with 2.2.2 on
my FreeBSD 5.3 system. I've been able to do about 95% of what I'd like
to, and other features, I've not worried about to date -- none of my music
is that complicated. I have been working on a Mass Setting for my
ordination (April 22). My daughter (my choir director for the service)
and I were doing some hashing on part of it, and she tried to install
2.2.2 on her machine (the latest version given on BSD ports) and it is now
marked as broken. What gives? Is there any way we can *make* that port
work? Or another version we can install? (Keep in mind we're musicians --
not geeks:-) And I guess if we install a new version (which I wouldn't
mind, given some of the features which have been discussed in this list)
how much of a learning curve is there and can we do it in a month, and get
the music nailed down in that time?
Blessings,
Rev. Gordon Gilbert
