never used fatText, this wouldn't be the culprit unless lily were
using it without my knowledge.
Well, you know what to do -- produce a minimal snippet which
demonstrates
this, so that we can figure out why it happens.
My initial guess is that it's because you have a note in the \mark
\markup -- is
that the case? what happens if you remove the note?
