7/8 length in chordmode?

Hi there,

I need a lot of chords to take the length of a 7/8 measure, but there  
isn't a appropriate length 'code', is there?

Sure, I could use:

akkorde = \chordmode {
    d2:m d4.:m | g2:m g4.:m |
    % etc.
}

But isn't there an easier way?
