HiI'd like to get into lilypond again (been away since 1.something). I'm on a debian/stable box here, so I found that the version in stable is 2.2.6, and I see that the current stable version is 2.8. My questions are:
1) Besides running a mixed system and going unstable, what are my options for getting 2.8 running under stable?
2) Should I go for a dual-boot option, how compatible will the 2.2.6 be with 2.8?
3) I entertained the idea of dualbooting with ubuntu. Is lilypond included in ubuntu, and which version is in the current stable ubuntu?
Thanks in advance for any reply... -- peace, love & harmony Atte http://www.atte.dk http://www.atte.dk/gps
