Hi /Karl

Thank you for your help.  I first thought that your patch might of been for 
the development version of lilypond -"2.9.*".

"./configure --with-ncsb-dir=/usr/share/fonts/.."  did the trick for me.

My next step is to make the web documents.  But that will not happen until I 
remake my Linux system with the latest kernel headers 2.6.16.18. and install 
Xorg-7.1.

I'll keep you posted on how I'll go sometime on the weekend. (I'll also 
compile everything with ghostscript instead of espgs too).
