String number/fingering

Hi,

 

From what the documentation says, these features are fairly limited; string numbers can't seem to be moved, and fingering numbers can only be moved to be to the left/right/top/bottom of a note.

 

Please tell me there are ways of tweaking these so I don't have to resort to doing the whole lot in markup!
