Gsview works with LilyPond generated ps files if you add the path to 
the fonts in GSview > Options > Configure Ghostscript > Ghostscript 
options, e.g.:

C:\Programme\Lilypond\usr\share\lilypond\current\fonts\type1\
C:\Programme\Lilypond\usr\share\lilypond\current\fonts\otf\
