What are the chances of getting an "instrument" property added to the
ChordNames context object?
Pretty good, I think, if you add the Instrument name engraver to the ChordNames context (\consists "Instrument_name_engraver"). See a relevant example at <http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.9/input/test/ lily-1136512558.ly>.
