Tie from voices to chord (begginer)

  Hi,

  This obviously doesn't work, but helps explain what I'm trying to do:

  \time 2/4 { << c2~ \\ { r4 e4~ } >> <c e>2 }

  I have two voices that I should tie to a chord. Is it possible to do 
that?
