Thanks for the update. However, it's still giving me a syntax error when 
I try to use a dotted note in the tempo.

So while:

tempoWholesPerMinute = #(ly:make-moment 90 4)

works fine, the following does not:

tempoWholesPerMinute = #(ly:make-moment 90 4.)

Is this something that needs fixing, or is there something that I'm missing?
