\wordwrap-string ?  It's not ideal, because it takes a string instead of 
a markup.  The other option would be to use nested \column, \line, and 
\wordwrap (in some order).

Ooo, that would be nifty... I don't think there is, though.  It 
shouldn't be too hard to create such a command with scheme, though.  Any 
budding scheme programmers out there want a challenge?  :)
