You can hide the dynamics with \once \override Score.DynamicText #'transparent = ##t
Put a dynamic at the beginning of your Note where you dont want no sound. > I think the manual is a bit unclear on this topic. > I tried \set Staff.midiMaximumVolume = #0 but it didn't work.
