Sometimes it can be a *very* narrow margin between getting one or two
(or 2-3) systems per page, especially for SATB-choir-plus-piano scores.
Try shrinking the piano staff size (if you haven't already) - that
often works really well on several levels. Shrink the amount of space
available for lyrics (if you're using lyrics - they can suck a
surprising amount of space) and use a smaller (different?) font for
lyrics.
And of course try reducing the page top/bottom margins.
Once you've managed to get two systems on a page, then re-adjust things in
the other direction - try to find the sweet (or the least sour) spot
that balances your two-systems requirement with the fairly important not-
having-horribly-tiny-and-squished-music requirement. :)
