Hi,
some days ago I moved my LilyPond production system from an older
computer (733MHz, 128 MB RAM) to a VMWare image on a notebook. Since
that time I very often get the error
/usr/local/lilypond/usr/share/lilypond/current/scm/backend-library.scm:24:15:
Nicht genügend Hauptspeicher verfügbar
(Not enough memory/RAM available.)
... when running lilypond-book.
I increased the RAM of the virtual machine to 512 MB, but the problem
is still there. The only way to solve it is a system reboot :-(
The system is running Debian with kernel 2.6.18-4-686.
Can you help me?
