\displayLilyMusic did the trick.
Is there also a command to convert the implicit notelengths into full notation.
e.g. r8 d d e f d16 e f8 g -> r8 d8 d8 e8 f8 d16 e16 f8 g8

transpose) on notes that meet certain criteria (e.g below C) ?
