I think any of these arguments are funny, I've had the pleasure to watch a couple. Honestly, the only reason I use an editor is for lilypond. In fact, until I was forced to use an editor because of the 10.5 intel problem, I didn't even know what an editor was. I use nano. It gets the job done, and I don't have to learn an editor :)
