The GUB's on this page are trivial to install on any LInux system:

Paul, don't forget that the acronym GUB is LilyPond specific and doesn't make sense to most readers of the mailing list. What you mean is that the installer for "any X86" available at http://lilypond.org/web/install/#2.11 can be used.
