Error with lilypond snippets (version 2.11.41 to 2.11.55)

Hello,

I have the following error while creating snippets with lilypond. This 
used to work for quite a while, but now is doesn't anymore and I am not 
able to find out why.

The last line says "error: failed files: ..."

The other files are created correctly, but it then abruptly stops.

I have attached a sample file which fails for me on Windows XP.
