I recall making the same "mistake" years ago. Beside the seeing first impression for the bug list, I think there is sometimes confusion to how one uses LP that makes a simple (to us skilled users) issue such as "why don't I see a GUI interface" seem like a potential bug. Maybe it should be stressed that using LP is more like writing a computer program than using a point-n-click program? > Date: Sun, 2 Nov 2008 23:06:16 +0100 > From: address@hidden > To: address@hidden > Subject: Re: Why do so many newcomers post to bug-lilypond? > CC: address@hidden > > 2008/11/2 Mats Bengtsson <address@hidden>: > > Where on the web is the bug mailing > > list so much more visible than the usage list? > > Here: > http://lilypond.org/web/install/ > > Any link in the column on the right brings them to an interface to bug-lilypond. > > (I'm personally happy with it, since -user is already crowded btw.) > > Cheers, > Valentin > > > _______________________________________________ > lilypond-user mailing list > address@hidden > http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/lilypond-user Store, manage and share up to 5GB with Windows Live SkyDrive.
