1/192 rests and /192 clutter, so the result would become:

A slightly more complex perl script could produce

   d''4*1/2 a'4*1/2 a4*1/2 g4*1/2 f4*1/2 e4*1/2 d4*1/2 e4*1/2 |

if that's desirable.
