It does.  Well, at least Finale 2008 does.  My work computer has Finale 
2006 installed and it crashes every time I try to export a file to XML. 
 The machines in the lab across the hall have Finale 2008 and the 
musicXML export works perfectly on those.  The import to Lilypond also 
works very well. :)
