I don't think we'll have a "choose a lilypond editor" page.
Rather, LM 1.2 will contain a list of alternate editors (LM 1.1
covers the editors included in lilypond), with screenshots, and
links to their respective home pages.  Users will read the
features, look at the screenshots, and then decide if they want to
download one of those tools, potentially before even beginning the
tutorial.
