- Why include the unstable version on the homepage?
- I would organize it as "Latest version: 2.12.3" in the head block of 
the download box, and just have a "Download" and a "Download manuals" as 
the links. (Actually while LilyPond has documentation, people like 
manuals more, and thanks to GDP, we have very good ones.)
