my Windows hard drive
tragically fried last week, and I won't be able to do any
LilyPond work until next Wednesday at the earliest, and
that's when my work starts up again, so I may be delayed
quite a bit.
That's a bummer - I was wondering what might have
happened to you. It's a real pain! A few years
ago I installed a second hard drive and started
up format to initialise it, expecting to be asked
for details about which drive to format. No; it
went straight ahead with the format - on the C
drive! Most things were backed up or could be
reinstalled, but I lost a lot of photographs. And
putting everything back takes a loooong time.
