Since it's a tweak, not in the main Notation, If it's not a snippet,
then of course it would be helpful to add to LSR and tag with "docs"
and "pitches".

Missing its image, as reported on .devel.
The command doesn't actually work as I expected it to - from the description
in the NR, I expected it to change a switch so that the next \clef command
it came across was always displayed. In fact, it forces an immediate
redisplay of the current clef.
