I see. So you can install in PCLinuxOS the files downloaded from
Puppy Linux, right? just to be absolutely sure.
You can test the compressed package. Do
# sh lilypond-2.13.56-1.linux-x86.sh --tarball
and then
bunzip2 -tvv lilypond-2.13.56-1.linux-x86.tar.bz2
Then post output here.
