That doc writer is me, I have had some answers from some users previously but 
the examples don't really clarify things - that is it seems that breakbefore 
will only work in specific examples. I forget now until I go back through my 
emails, but if you have the title in certain parts of a \book and if that \book 
has multiple \score constructs it will work in some places but not others.

This makes it difficult to 'document'.

So I appreciate any offers, but I will have to go back over the emails again to 
see if I can concisely re-state my problems with the attempts to help before.

FWIW "breakbefore = ##t" when used in a \header block in a \score block causes that score to start on a new page.
