I don't agree entirely.  Historically, most perceived convolution
arises from skipping over material in the Learning manual.  This
is particularly true when somebody complains "I can't figure out
where to paste this".

If any confusion arises due to not knowing how to merge info from
different sections, go back and read Learning 3.1 How LilyPond
input files work.  If some part of that chapter is not clear, ask
a question so that we know about the ambiguity and can fix it.
