I don't know when it was that the bug appeared.  If it turns out that
this is a problem, it should be reasonably easy to rewrite the snippet
in a manner that does not trigger the bug.

I think it was something like \lyricsto "xxx" \music \musicfunction
... and it would likely already do to write \lyricsto "xxx" { \music }
\musicfunction ...
