Well, there is always a certain difference between exact notation,
i.e. writing down what you hear, and the intended meaning, i.e.
writing down how it should be understood. As Kieran pointed out
before.

My point was that it is impossible to play <e f>8 only on the 6th
string of a guitar.
But that should sound at the second quaver of the example following
_exactly_ the notation of your example.

Perhaps I'm a too much an inch pincher. Forget about it.
