this function takes a list as argument, so you can enter

\overrideProperty #"Score.NonMusicalPaperColumn" #'line-break-system-details
#'((alignment-distances . (30 12 )))

where 12 is the default vertical spacing between staves (I believe) - in
this example the 2nd staff will have a distance of 30 spaces and the
following ones 12 again.
