Thanks very much for the reply.  Okay, I've done the upgrade to 2.16.1 but the problem isn't solved.  I've placed the .ly and .svg files, and pictures (screen dumps?) of the .pdf output from Lilypond (which is fine) and the display of the SVG file in Inkscape 0.48 at the following links:

I don't know of any.  However, that's a very old development version.  Please upgrade to either 2.16.1 or latest development and let us know if you still have problems.

I'm using v 2.13.50.  Is there any known problem with the SVG output?  I'm losing numbers and text when I try to open it with Inkscape 0.48.
