So now we know you are not using Mac OS 9 or older, so we can rule out
an 68000 processor type.

But it turns out that Eluze's request for specification of the version
requires more detailed information.  There have actually been changes to
LilyPond's treatment of ties in Midi in the lifetime of LilyPond, and
even in the lifetime of Mac OS X.
