Lilypond's collision avoidance algorithms handle that case elegantly, with NO
monkeying about. As I recall, Finale could never get that right. It was always:
special tools, horizontal positioning, drag (and hope future "Update layout"
operations wouldn't break it)... slash wrists... repeat...
