That would make a modicum of sense if we had issues worth putting behind
able to pair with available resources.  Available resources are mostly
what can be done by non-specialists of LilyPond since the specialists
are already pretty much doing what they can.

So something like the infamous issue 34 will not get much traction from
getting funding.

On the other hand, "bring a particular translation up to scratch" could
conceivably be done by non-specialists.
