I suspected that, but didn't see the forest for the parens (ehm, trees).
I hadn't figured out which closing bracket to remove accordingly.

Yes, feels very good.

And I hope it solves an issue with another library I'm having (wanted to generalize the generation of music examples for a book through a function, and was surprised that the global-staff-size wasn't respected. This is probably the same issue: including files from within a music _expression_).
