The question is: What to do with the currently unapproved snippet:

The snippet-author didn't reply (perhaps not on this list)

Should I approve this snippet and wait until it breaks?

I think it's a bad idea to have snippets with coding errors. People might copy them and then cause problems. I think it should not be approved, and if the author does not contact -user or -devel to find out why it's not visible, then so be it.
