I neglected this point in my hasty instructions; when you use the
terminal command
lilypond MyNewPiece.ly
, it probably should be
/Applications/LilyPond.app/Contents/Resources/bin/lilypond MyNewPiece.ly
instead, so that the system can find what you mean by lilypond.
