Hello,

I'll take some time later this week to look carefully, but a first good news
is that I was able to compile the manual after installing the missing fonts
on 2 different computers :-)
That's very good to know. I didn't have concrete doubts, but LaTeX is always good for a surprise ;-)

2 years ago, I developed such a package (far less complete!) targeted to
LaTeX (not Xe- or Lua-)
Ah, yes, I recall having looked at that last year when I started on lilyglyphs.
and I see your work as an opportunity to look at
XeLaTeX.
I suggest also looking at LuaLaTeX at this opportunity.
One thing I missed from XeLaTeX were a few very advanced typographic features. The fact that out of the blue I got a contribution by Dave Bellows who made lilyglyphs work with LuaLaTeX too actually triggered tackling a release now ...

I'll take a look at glyphs combinations that could be usefull; octaviation
clefs, for instance.
Any contribution is highly welcome, as one part of the task at hand is to increase the glyph coverage. And I'll surely work on that mainly with my own practical needs in mind. So if there are many people submitting predefined commands the package can grow significantly faster. (I wouldn't try to create octaviation clefs on the LaTeX side but definitely through the pdf images BTW).

Best
Urs

Thanks for your awesome work!

Philippe
