Hi all,
I'm brand new to LilyPond, but I'm already enjoying
myself tremendously by trying to out all its
features and properties.
My question concerns tweaking
the figured bass notation. I thought the
default font used was too
heavy and didn't mix well with my lyrics
font (Baskerville), so I changed the
figured bass font to
Baskerville Bold, like this:
\context { \FiguredBass
\override BassFigure #'font-size = #2
\override BassFigure #'font-name =
#'"Baskerville Bold"
}
This works like a charm, except
(and here's my problem) that
any accidentals placed beside the
figures aren't properly aligned with
the figures themselves anymore.
They are too high up. This
causes an ugly gap between,
for example, 7 and 5 in a 9-7-5# chord.
Is there any way I can tweak
the baseline for just the accidentals?
(Preferably without having to
specify tons of stuff for every single
individual chord.)
I'd be most grateful if someone could
help me with this. Thanks for reading,
and have a wonderful day!
Best wishes,
Kim Fierens
